What's up SportsTalk Nation! Welcome to again another article of NBA EXPRESS and we are not going to talk anything about an all-star caliber player already but an upcoming talent who might have a bright future in the world of basketball. Guess who? it's none other than the little brother of the Giannis "The Greek Freak" Antetokounmpo.
Kostas Antetokounmpo is still a shadow behind his big brother stellar fame but Kostas is in his own man, he might not be in an allstar conversation heck even a starter for an NBA squad but the talent and physical gifts are visible in this young man. Kostas has a productive season at Texas Legends a G League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks, where he recorded 10.6 points, 6.1 boards and 1.4 blocks.
He is also the latest acquisition by the Los Angeles Lakers with the hope to develop him to a talent like his older brother or maybe a pitch to Giannis(but's that for another discussion), with the height of 6'10" and very agile at both ends of the floor. Although a thin frame at only 200lbs he is an effective screen and roll guy who has a good pace that can easily roll to the basket.

- Defensive Tanker Potential?
As much as I like for him to be good offensive player, his defensive potential is off the roofs as evidence of his frame and agility, with 7'2" wingspan he could tank the defensive liabilities of his team mates. He can be a future defensive allstar where he can legitimately defend all five position as he can sometimes logged in at center position from time to time. Kostas length could challenge almost any shots taken on the floor with just less steps it took for him to close the gap factor in as well his lateral quickness on the floor.

- Still Young at 21, Lakers good at developing young talents
Kostas is still a baby in the NBA only played 2 regular NBA games at Dallas Mavericks because he spent most of his time at Texas Legends. Although mostly of his offensive skill sets are of that traditional big man, we can't limit his potential upside to that, he can still develop to a potential ball handler like his older brother which he can run the transition and unstoppable in the paint. The Lakers are also proven good at developing young prospects as was seen in the likes of Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Julius Randle, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart, D'Angelo Russell and etc.

Ofcourse no one can tell the future but with the talent, gifts and hardwork along with the right attitude Kostas is a potential threat in the NBA. That is all for now folks
