As somehow a supporter of Tottenham, this is unfortunate and this is humiliating for a Champions League runner-up. Imagine defeating Dortmund, Ajax, and even Manchester City but lost to a team from EFL League Two? How is it depressing? While everyone understands that the lineup of Tottenham is different from their original lineup, it's no excuse about their loss.
Currently they are sitting seventh in the league with eight points in six matches. That's depressing to be honest because the only strong team they faced with those six matches was against Arsenal. How much more when they face the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, and many more top teams? I'm afraid Tottenham will suffer if they can't turn things around.
I'm still optimistic about their future. They had a great squad and a talented coach. I'm looking forward to see their future matches. They have a pretty good stadium though :)
