Adding beneficiaries in our Sportstalk post is I think will be beneficial and an advancement to the future of the platform. I think setting beneficiaries to your post will add a great convenience to all users especially when they intentionally allocate a portion of their earnings to :
- Charities / Donations / Programs
- Savings
- Contest Prizes
- Ease of Reward distribution (easy to allocate your rewards to your alt account)
- Funding
- etc.
I think it will be first agreed by the Steem-Engine team before it will happen on Sportstalk. I don't know much about the technicality/coding about it but I'm pretty sure it can be done easily considering it had been already implemented in Steemit.
For anyone wants to allocate a portion of their earnings to savings this will be a perfect feature for us. For anyone who wants to allocate a portion of their savings to fund some projects this will be a great tool for us. For anyone who wants to donate a portion of their savings to someone this will be an amazing addition to Sportstalk.
As for the cons, I don't really think there are negative implication about this post aside from making a mistake in adding beneficiaries which I highly doubt. For you to set a beneficiary, you need to manually add the user and his corresponding share of the post reward. What do you think guys?
