Now, for everyone playing and in this space, I think a main question would be, is it profitable? I mean, if Sorare is not profitable, I might as well go somewhere else right? I mean, just another fantasy sports game, why must I changed to Sorare?
But the thing is, yes it requires a start up capital. But at the same time, yes it is profitable! I mean, if you know what you are doing that is.
In the previous post, I have discussed that competitions rewards you in various form. But realistically, what are ways you can earn?
Earning Methods (That I know of)
Winning Competitions
Firstly, winning. Just by winning competitions, you get to earn NFT cards, or Essence in which you can craft cards, or just cash/crypto itself. These NFTs can be really really pricey if you get someone good. And so, how much are we looking at? Just by looking only at the NBA, NOT including the soccer which has significantly higher cash prices, this is what we are looking at.
And for the records, every week there will be 2 periods going on, with each period having more than just this competition itself. So this is how much you get to earn, some serious cash if I may. Winning first place gives you USD2,000, that is really a lot man...
Selling Cards
Now the question would be, how did you get these NFT cards in the first place! You can, win them through competitions, win enough essence to craft a card, or simply buy it from the second hand market before flipping them again. Now all these are ways to earn. Think of it as, if you know your sports you would know best. For instance, for NBA if the starting Shooting Guard is suspended or injured, the replacement shooting guard will get more play time, meaning more points. With more points, players will want it. With a fixed supply and increase demand, what happens? You got it, price shoots up! So yea, if you know what you are doing, this flipping can earn some serious cash
So in conclusion, if you know what you are doing, you can earn some serious cash. Yes, capital is required, but thinking long term earning is really very possible.
Over the next few days or weeks, I will be sharing more about Sorare with everyone. This is a game I play daily now, more than Splinterlands. Would be glad to have more people to join me in this.
