The postponement came after the LaLiga League asked Barcelona and Real Madrid to transfer the next Clasico from the Camp Nou to the Santiago Bernabeu, but the pair refused.
The Football Association has proposed that the match be played on December 18, which was rejected by the League, because it was a working day, in addition to its opposition to the King's Cup matches.
Spanish press reports revealed on Thursday that the Competitions Committee decided to postpone the match between Barcelona and Real Madrid in the tenth round of La Liga indefinitely.
According to the newspapers Mundo Deportivo and Marka, it was agreed during the meeting today to the Competitions Committee to postpone the clasico game, which was scheduled to be held on October 26.
The competition committee gave Real Madrid, Barcelona and La Liga a chance until Monday to agree on a unified date for the match.
The Spanish security refused to hold the game on October 26, because of a mass demonstration on the same day in the streets of Barcelona.
The league proposed the match on December 7, but that requires the transfer of Barcelona, Mallorca, Real Madrid and Espanyol in the 16th round of the Spanish league to another date.
Real Madrid top the table with 18 points, two points behind runners-up Barcelona.
