The FA cup clash between Wolves and Manchester United today ended goalless. While this is absolutely normal in the game, it however also came with a dissappointing feature for the visitors, who could not record even a single goal on target throughout the encounter.
It was a very balanced game, in which the home side, Wolves played with a 3-4-3 formation while United played 4-2-3-1. Although results of Cup encounters between clubs may not be as predictable as league encounters, this game is a bit more depressing for united fans, who would have loved to see John Ruddy struggle with shots from their strikers, and probably make some mistakes. The lucky keeper was not given the chance to make any mistake.
