There are many traditional sports in China, such as dragon boat race, shuttlecock kicking, Cuju and diabolo shaking. These sports have a long cultural history and are cultural treasures in the development of Chinese history.
In addition to the above traditional sports, tug-of-war is also a traditional sport in China, and has a long history. As early as the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, tug-of-war became a competitive sport.
The tug-of-war movement was inherited from all dynasties in ancient China and developed to all parts of the world, such as Korea, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia and the Philippines, all of which have tug-of-war competitions.
In tug-of-war, many people are divided into two teams, and then pull at one end of the rope. The middle part of the rope has a boundary. One of the competitors pulls the other side across the boundary in the corresponding time to win.
This is a group sport, the number of people needed can be many or few, many times can reach hundreds of people, thousands of people, a few times. The rope used in tug-of-war is usually determined by the number of tug-of-war people. When there are many people, the rope will be very thick and very long.
Tug-of-war is a very united and tacit sport. In competition, competitors often shout "one, two, three, pull", in order to promote unity and harmony.
Tug-of-war plays a very important role in enhancing friendship between you and me and in enhancing solidarity among people. Before each competition, people always go to the battlefield with the mentality of "friendship first, competition second, participation first".
Personally, I don't like this sport very much, because it is too busy. I prefer individual sports, such as rope skipping, squatting, running and so on.
But I am very supportive of tug-of-war because it has a certain historical position and humanistic value, and plays an immeasurable role in sports.
So let's inherit excellent culture and carry forward sports spirit.
Love life, love sports.
