It is pretty safe to say that this was probably my worst weekend so far in Fantasy Football. I promise you despite how it looks, I am really not this bad. It is actually a bit surprising to me that I am now 0 and 4 for the season.
The really sad thing is, that even if I could have had a decent showing, I still don't think it would have been enough to beat my brother in law. His team just had a fantastic week.
If anything good came out of this week, is now 4 and 0 on the season and sitting in sole possession of first place.
So let's look at the breakdown...
Prescott had his worst week so far. That is pretty much my luck with fantasy football, now that I am playing him regularly, he will probably continue these horrible numbers through the season.
I firmly believe there are zero good wide receivers in the league, not on my team anyway. No matter how many moves I make, I just can't seem to find one to give me the numbers I need. Nothing like the 29 points that Godwin gave my brother in law.
Heck, I'd settle for the 18 points (a piece) he got from his other two (Adams and Golladay). Instead, I am stuck with sub 10 point games from all four wide receivers that I played.
My running backs held my game together and Kelce my tight end played a great game. The fact that the latter was kept out of the end zone really brought his score down.
To be fair, I had a handful of my best players on the bench because it is their bye week, but it still probably wouldn't have helped me against nearly 160 points!
The Bench
As you can see, I didn't fare much better in the bench comparison. As I said, two of my best players were on bye week, so they wouldn't have give me any advantage anyway. The only two things I could have done differently is playing Wentz instead of Prescott and Houston as my defense instead of Minnesota.
I'm getting desperate
Going into week five I need a win folks! I will take any advice you can give me. I am not a proud man, I am not above begging. Tell me who to cut, tell me who to try and pick up. Tell me who to play, I am open to anything!
