I'm out on the Timberwolves hype. Too much, too soon. On paper, Butler / KAT / Wiggins / Teague / Crawford is a lot of talent but they aren't perfect fits next to one another and Thibodeau's defensive schemes take awhile to learn. Eventually they'll be a good team - and will pose all kinds of matchup nightmares when they go small with KAT at the 5 and Wiggins / Butler at the 3/4 - but that's later in the year.
Right now? Second game of the season? No reason they should be laying 4.5 points IN UTAH. The Jazz lost Hayward but they're still one of the best defensive teams in the league with Gobert anchoring the frontline. They added Rubio and rookie Donovan Mitchell, who has looked great so far, and have always been a tough out at home.
Pick: Jazz (+4.5)
