Officially, March 20th was supposed to be the first day of Spring. And, how did the first day welcome me?
This was on the radio while going to office ~
RJ: Do you think women should use Men' deodorant because it's cheaper and lasts longer?
Female Responder: Yes, I do because it lasts longer!
RJ: Do you use it interchangeably or you have your own personal men' deodorant?
Female Responder: My boyfriend buys a pack of two so I use one from that, similarly he uses one of mine.
RJ: What has the world come to? Your boyfriend uses women' deodorant?!!!
Obviously, I had to change the channel after that conversation as one can't keep up long with such intricate & life-changing discussions.
Just 2-days before the official beginning of spring, I went to the Connetquot River State Park Preserve for a stroll to feel that change in nature. It was surreal, to say the least.
That gave me new hopes and motivation to explore a new state park every week.
After that conversation on the radio, guess what else the day one of Spring had to offer?!
This and an alert in my phone ~~ Winter Storm Warning
Surreal, in a different way! Things don't always turn out the way we want - the only sensible definition of life.
How exactly did Spring welcome you?!
