Damn! Seems That Spring May be Coming in Central Canada!

Woke up a bit late today and went to take the dog out for a shit only to be greeted by what the average Canadian would consider "damn nice weather" after being stuck in a god damned deep freeze for the past 4 months or more. Almost considered hoppin' on my motorcycle and going for a quick ride but leaned to not go due to the roads being covered in slush due to the snow starting to melt a bit.. With tomorrow being "Ground hog" day I guess we'll see if another few months of winter are going to be felt here or if the great spring melt has begun. Although the "Ground hog" day is complete mystic bullshit it is a fun little event that happens each year on Febraury 2nd in which a Ground hog is said to come out of his burrow and if he sees his shadow their will be more winter.. But if he doesn't then spring is on it's way soon.

Here is to hoping only a little bit of winter is left. It's been a long ass depressing winter and certainly not as productive as it should have been but alas with spring just around the corner I'm feeling pretty hopeful that I'll be able to get out and enjoy warm weather sooner than later. Being cooped up inside trying to avoid the cold has been shown to have a detrimental effect on a persons psyche which from experience I can certainly say this is the case. Cabin fever is certainly a real thing!
