Marc Marquez participated at the Dutch TT at Assen which saw him come off with what is so far his fourth victory.
His victory did not come easy at all as it was only in the finishing stages of the race that he was able to take the lead.
Marquez, Honda’s rider finished with a winning margin of 2.269 seconds after racing through the entire track which spanned over a distance of about 26 laps.
He was only able to come at the top of the standings and come off victorious towards the final four laps of the race.
The opening half of the race had Jorge Lorenzo in the lead after speeding all the way up from the 10th position.
For a while, Lorenzo was at the forefront while Alex Rins, Valentino Rossi, Andrea Dovizioso and Maverick Vinales battled with Marquez for second position.
Moments later at lap 15, Dovizioso overtook Lorenzo, his Ducati teammate to gain on the lead. He held on this advantage till lap 19 where a determined Vinales overtook him.
However, Vinales had an issue which saw Marquez soon claim the lead to finish victorious.
