Reports in the Italian media has disclosed that as Gattuso is leaving the AC Milan Board, the most possible replacement seems to be Antonio Conte, the former Chelsea Boss as he has already begun to hold talks with the AC Milan board on the new appointment.
It was earlier this month that the Chelsea Board relieved Conte of his post at the club after speculations about him leaving has been ongoing for some time as Chelsea were also holding talks for Napoli’s Maurizio Sarri who is now the new Chelsea Boss.
Reports in the Tuttosport has made claims that the new Milan General Manager, Leonardo would be holding a meeting with Conte by next week and it is likely to be aimed at him being welcomed into the club and talking over how the deal would be satisfied. Although the new General manager is siding Conte’s move, the new AC Milan’s President, Marco Scaroni doesn’t support that as he still wishes for Gattuso to remain at the club but if Conte would come, he might have no choice but to accept him.
