Adil Rami has informed that if that is what it will take, then Edinson Cavani will need to "break the rule of science" for him to feature against the defensive Uruguay in the world cup quarter final.
Following his two goals which saw his side scale through Portugal in round 16, the Paris Saint-German star limped out of the pitch towards the end of the match.
Uruguay later announced that the forward has sustained an injury.
"Sadly, the loss of one man is a profit to another. One of the in-form players in the world has been announced injured, an important player in our team. Well, he will have to prove science wrong and come up strong against France" Rami said.
France and Uruguay have been tied together in the quarter final on Friday 6th.
Whosoever gets through will be facing either Belgium or Brazil in the semifinals as the tournament heads to an end.
