ACT Brumbies will on Sunday go up against Sunwolves in their Super Rugby match. In lieu of this upcoming match, Michael Cheika, Australian Rugby team coach had requested that the Brumbies drop David Pocock, Allan Alaalatoa and Scott Sio.
The trio are expected to be part of the Australian squad which will go up in Canberra against the Japanese team in the match to be held six days before they have to go up against Ireland who are current Six Nations Champions in the Australia series.
This is really no concern of the Brumbies as they are in a horseshit of theirs at the moment. There’s currently an increase in the declining rate of the crowd numbers coming to the Brumbies games and the management is concerned about leaving out their three best players for this match.
The Brumbies Coach, Dan McKellar who spoke to the Canberra Times noted that the timing of the request was not right.
"We just felt the scheduling and the timing of (the request) was a little bit off, and at this point in time we need to do what's best for the Brumbies.”
The Brumbies are hoping that the match will attract no less than 15,000 fans and the trio will be expected to start the match with the rest of the squad.
