My bigger question about all this is what the DAO is going to do with the codebase. I guess proposals will have to follow, how this is going to work and whether this is a "code is owned but that's about it" or if the community can actually review it.

I can't see a scenario where any non-team member is getting any edit possibilities though and even if, I doubt the team would be happy with reviewing push requests for untested stuff, maybe even some AI vibe coded crap. Maybe VM access can be given, but you don't really need the DAO for that at all, the team could do this now if they were so inclined.

So from my point of view, the DAO owning the code-base will most likely change absolutely nothing.
