I bought my first legendary gold foil today! Having only played this game for a couple of weeks, this is also one of the first cards I've bought in general and the first major investment into building a deck.
So which card is it?

So why the big purchase? Well I was considering waiting until Chaos Legion dropped but felt the itch to start building a deck. Renting cards has become quite expensive and when looking at the economics behind the market right now, it seemed like reward cards are getting dumped on the market due to many receiving them in reward chests.
With this card being dubbed the "Kron Killer", I made a rash move and went for it.
Now, what I love about this game is the investment angle into every move I make. Buying this card, specifcally the gold foil, builds my collection power to increase my airdrop points for SPS. It also allows me to rent out for a higher price or to use in my own playable collection power so that I can more easily level up to Silver/Gold for end of season. The rental market was absolutely insane at the end of last season and I'd rather be the one getting the benefits or not participating at all.
So, of course the price dropped as soon as I bought him. But this is a long term strategy and a card I can see myself using (and have already used) in building out a solid water deck. So I'm not worried!
Only time will tell but as we've seen with many other in-game assets, scarcity is a factor and feeling like I got in on something early is great.
