Financial Transparency:
At the beginning of the month of February, I detailed all of the money that was raised for Spunkee Monkee and showed exactly where it was to be allocated.
Part of the money that was set aside was for a 20K SP delegation lease request. On the first attempt, the lease request was not fulfilled. On the second attempt, the lease request was broken into 4 smaller increments at 19% ROI and 2 of the 4 lease requests were fulfilled be . (Thank you kindly
!) However, the other two requests were not fulfilled. I believed that 19% ROI was more than fair, and was not going to increase the ROI to attract any other whales, so the funds were returned to Spunkee Monkee after the 3 days. The total amount sent was 385 Steem, of which 190.476 Steem was returned. I did not have any set plans for that Steem, so it has remained in the Spunkee Monkee wallet until future plans for it could be determined.
Since then, our digital artist from Venezuela (whose sole means of reliable employment has been his ability to draw with his computer) has lost his work tool. He lives in a country where rent is around $10/month, so raising funds for a $300 computer is almost impossible for him on his own. He is a hard worker, and has been doing other things to provide for his family, but it is not a sustainable form of income.
Personally, I have donated to his Fundition with my @dreemsteem account (and you can too if you feel so led!) but I specifically did not donate to his Fundition with the account so that it would not appear inappropriate.
However, after talking with today - we put our minds together in a way that we could help
- who is absolutely a huge part of our Monkee Family.
It is a bit of a catch 22. I can't pay him for digital work, since he doesn't have a computer. I can't purchase a computer for him, since that could be tricky, and not as transparent as I'd like the records of Spunkee Monkee to remain. However, Spunkee Monkee can advance him the money on work to be completed upon the purchase of his computer. The Steem that was refunded through the lease request will be sent to his Fundition, in the expectation that 190 steem ($55.10 at current market value) worth of digital images will be completed by at a further date to be determined in 2019.
has always been prompt and professional with every task that he was given and I see absolutely no reason that he would not continue in this manner. He has worked with diligence and excellence not only for Spunkee Monkee, but I'm sure that the following Steemians can attest to his wonderful work ethic as well:

After the advanced payment from Spunkee Monkee, there will only be $200 between Jim and reliable employment. Would you be willing to send $1? Thank you, in advance. - Dreemie
