As posted before we bought a holiday house in Spain and share the steps one must take to get it formalized so you are the owner and get the keys!

Steps I took this time is that I opened a bankaccount online with Caixa but I have to verify my identity locally to get it released.
I will try to do this when we are there 4-11 to 7-11. Hard to get hold of them though.
Our lawyer made an appointment with the Notary where we will sign some Powers of Attorney enabling the lawyer to sign contracts for us and apply for the required so called NIE's
During the weekend the current owner is opening the doors once more so my wife can also see what she purchases! I did the viewings myself and she agreed afterwards based on pictures and a movie I made. Fingers crossed she really likes it.
But with the weather expected to be sunny (as usual in the COsta Blanca) the house will present itself as on the pics above!
