I Quit

It only gets better by the day

Every Tuesday at 8:00 PM, we converge at Stach's Discord Server for a spoken word show hosted by Hive account@winarobert and co-hosted by yours truly.

It was yet another amazing and mind blowing show as we had the honors of hosting Hive account@surfyogi.

We had the most number of participants this week and the theme was "I'm leaving, I quit".

In the end, we had Hive account@francistagbo as the winner with his mind blowing entry.

Here was my piece for the night

I'm leaving, I think I want to quit
Tired of being bullied by the government
Thought it was democracy but I was wrong
It is just for their pocket and it is obvious
Citizens are getting poorer by the day
While they rejoice with chicken laps in their fast cars
I quit

I'm leaving, I want to quit
True relationships are hard to come by
You find love and then end up broken
With no pieces to pick from, what a world!
How long do we have to go through this?
Love is the most beautiful thing yet painful.
I quit

They say all I needed to do was join in
Register, blog and earn was all it
But then since I joined
I don't even get to make any coin
I'm tired, I quit

Can I just pack my bags and leave?
No, I won't because I believe
What doesn't truly kill me now
Will make me stronger than my situations
Even though I feel like quitting
I won't because I am a fighter.
