Life can sometimes put you at the crossroad
You feel the weight of the world on your shoulder like a load
Life doesn't come with manuals you need not be told
We live and learn as we go and grow through life
Nothing is as easy as it looks, not even when you are searching for a wife
Life is about a little bit of love and also strife
We are sometimes at the crossroad not knowing where to hide
When life throws you lemon, make lemonade they say
They are not the one in it so they won't be the one to pay
You try so much to keep your troubles at bay
Trouble sometimes come knocking no matter the time of the day
You are at that crossroad and there is no where for your thoughts to lay
You attacked the day with enthusiasm but sometimes forget to play
When you are at that crossroad, just look up and pray.
This was the poem written, when i participated in the #Stach discord Spoken Contest yesterday, with the keyword as "Crossroads". It was so much fun. A lot of people participated and also came around:
