The mass marketed and greatly loved electric sedan has been put in a temporary production halt as Tesla suspends its output and while this isn’t exactly unusual as production has been suspended from time to time skeptics are raising their eyebrows and pointing out to the time when it was questionable when the company shut down production for ‘maintenance’ but it was actually due to a cash crunch during the early days. Most people don”t think this is similar to the scenario in the early days and this suspension happened at fremont factory not the gigafactory
"Our Model 3 production plan includes periods of planned downtime
in both Fremont and Gigafactory 1:' a Tesla spokesman said in an
emailed statement."These periods are used to improve automation and
systematically address bottlenecks in order to increase production rates.
This is not unusual and is in fact common in production ramps like this."
