There is a PC game called Stardew Valley. It had many good reviews. It was originally called Sprouts Valley. You can buy this game on the Steam store. I got my copy for only 10CDN it said it was on a 40 percent off sale.
Stardew Valley is a top down RPG similar to Zelda from SNES. Except there is no violence and no enemy.
Its about a guy who works at a IT firm and one day he couldn't take his work anymore and quit and decided to go farming (his grandfather gave him an envelope that said, do not open until you give up). So you jump on the bus and go to the farm.
You can personalize the avatar via gender, hair style, shirt style or pants still I think. It also gives you the option to name your farm and your character.
At the farm you run around and chop down trees, bushes, grass, etc and collect the results and sell them to make money. You put the stuff in a big box outside and overnight you get cash dollars.
The first think you need to know is that the left mouse button is used for the axe or water pot to water seeds. The right mouse button is used to open doors, read the mail, and open the cash bin (the bin you put wood in to exchange for cash overnight).
You can visit the dock and the guy there gives you a free bamboo fish pole. Any fish you buy you can sell back to the store.
If you (like me) didn't know about the right mouse button you can chop trees all day and sleep from exhaustion. The doctor will take 50 bucks and bring you home.. or a neighbor would frighten a pick pocket away and bring you home
.
you start the game at home. and you finish every night at home in bed.
when you chop trees it releases seeds. You plant the seeds and watch your crops grow. Chopping things with your axe require a lot of energy. You can probably chop down 10 big trees before you are too exhausted and need to sleep
around day ten a girl shows up with a cat named dudley she said the cat likes it here would you like to adopt the cat? I haven't discovered if cats need to eat.
the water pot you can refill using a small pond nearby. I watered small crops to make them grow faster.
inside your house there is a TV. You can watch the weather, psychic hotline,
The postal box outside gives you news.
