Day 2 of Statewars, I'm doing day 1 and day 2 in the same day because I got the memo a little late. For favorite city, I have chosen. Tampa is located in central Florida and has a beautiful downtown and is just a few miles from St. Petersburg, St. Pete Beach and Clearwater Beach.
Downtown Tampa has beautiful views and a walkway called the River Walk along the Hillsborough River. The Hillsborough River connects to the Tampa Bay so it is common to see dolphins and manatees while walking.
The area is very bike friendly and skate friendly. I prefer to used alternative transportation so this is a big plus for me!
Tampa is also home of the manatee viewing center where you can spend your day watching the manatees, sharks, and stingrays swim in the ocean.
There are lots of things to do in Tampa including an active nightlife, restaurants, shopping, fairs, festivals, boat cruises, etc.
And there is almost ALWAYS a gorgeous sunset!
