when i signed up to steemit yesterday, It was purely as a scouting mission for the free Christmas group I'm a member of . It's a fairly small facebook group with a couple of hundred members who spend a little time each day using online earning sites to earn enough for our families to have a wonderful Christmas without spending a penny of our regular incomes. This year we have a challenge to earn £1200 with a daily target of earning £3.28 or more to achieve it.
Usually scouting out a new earning site is a pretty lengthy process it can take weeks (occasionally months)and hundreds of surveys/ reviews or tasks to reach the required payout levels and receive any earnings before heading back to the group to let them know about it.
With that in mind I signed up and got settled in for the long haul, read as much as i could to work out how the site work,s before writing a quick test post i thought members of the our group would find useful, before heading to bed at what can only be described as stupid o'clock in the morning.
When i woke up I logged on expecting to see a few fractions of a penny on the post, but no it was a whopping $220 that's well over £60, amazed i thought about all the survey's I wasn't going to have to do to meet this months target. And now I'm getting ready to go to bed with over $400 (roughly £240) sitting on that post I'm absolutely astounded.
Having found a lot of scam sites in the past I'll admit to taking everything said here with a bucket of salt but now I'm pretty much sold that steemit is for life not just for christmas.
But before that I have to work out the simplest way to cashout those steamdollars and use a bitcoin wallet.
