It does not hurt to help somebody; it only makes you feel better.
Sometimes the only thing someone need is an ear for you to listen.
They may not even want any help, because just by listening you are already helping.
Today I saw how someone tried to stay alive just so that she could help her daughter grow up. She tried every possible way, but she was just too sick, and passed away.
There is now this little girl who so misses her mother, but she cannot bring her back.
While listening to her questions on what is going to happen now, I sat thinking she must realise that she can never get her mother back, but if she remembers the small things she was taught by her she will always be in her heart.
We do not always understand why things like this happen, but we have to just accept it as part of life.
There could be something that has to happen in this child’s life that she still does not know about. She is very heartbroken, and if you ask her what she remembers she just tells you about all the good things in life that her mother had taught her.
I told her to remember them, as that is why her mother tried so hard to stay alive, just to help her.
But she was such a wonderful mother that I think she had done enough already. The one thing her mother taught her was to always be thankful, and appreciate everything that come her way.
The passing of her mother will certainly be the most terrible thing that has ever happened to her, but she will overcome it in little bits.
The two most important things that she must remember and I told her, is that her mother loved her very much. God is now the one looking after her, if there are any questions from her side; He is the one she must ask as he always delivers.
It will take a lot of time, but sometimes he might send somebody into her life who can make it easier for her to talk to, and that person might be able to answer some of her questions.
We have so much to be thankful for, as most of us get the chance to bring up our children and even see their children.
This little girl was not that lucky, but with the help of her friends and her God, I am sure she will become a wonderful woman as she had the basics taught to her, while her mother was with her.
So Just remember we cannot know what is going to happen today or tomorrow, so make the best of it.
Use your gift from God and help wherever you can, as that might just be the reason you are on this earth.
This is a sad story that can definitely become a good story as she grows up and enjoys everything she has learnt and have wonderful children of her own.
If this does happen can you imagine how she will teach them from very young how to live, as she had to grow up without her mother?
I am sure she is going to be fine in time, it is still a little early, and very painful but God never bring things on our path that we cannot handle.
