Weeks ago Hive account@anomadsoul made up a contest in which one he was awarding to the Role Models of Steemit and I really wanted to participate but then I ask to myself:

How do I contribute to Steemit?

How do I help the people that surround me with this platform?

Do I deserve that reward?

The answer was three consecutive and sincere negatives, I wasn’t contributing with anything, I didn’t help and if I did it it was just because someone ask me to, I didn’t deserve under any condition a delegation of Steem Power. And there was when I realized that I have to do something about it.

Hive account@anomadsoul asked for simple and easy things that are:

• • Isn’t permanently Powering down, he explained that this means that you don’t trust in the platform and that you don’t think staying for long. TRUE Three months ago I was in Venezuela and how you all know the inflation of more than 14000% eats everything is like an acid that destroy it all that it touches. I was constantly powering down, bad idea. Now I have a more clear and thinked plan in long terms.
• • Posts that are original and quality content, from here on there were some that I did good and some not so much.
• • Cites sources you learn this in primary you have to respect that, it’s how it’s done.
• • Answer the commets. I actually love to do this, there is nothing more satisfying for a writer than to be read and answering the comments is like a little thanks to all of you that take your time to read.
• • To comment and give a nice feedback and if not why then you read for?
• • Not to auto vote myself more than one a day. Is better to use that voting power supporting some other people
• • Do not use bidbots in all the post, this is a bit difficult to me but I’m don’t want to talk about this in this post.
• • Spreads her votes as wide as she can within their SP possibilities. Before I used to vote often I was draining my SP I didn’t know how to use it but then I learned. Is more than reading a lot.
• • Hangs out in some chat channels regularly. I still don’t do this often I have to clone myself to do it I wish I could chat more and be more social but in the chats I become kinda shy, You have to know that if you write me in private I will answer as soon as I can and with love.
• • Votes for the witness at least 10 but 30 is better, I’m working on this still not 30 haha

I took actions

After reading all the list of things that should have or do a Role Model in Steemit I though with more reason I shouldn’t deserve that reward or even participate, I star working on my blog and in me as person. In that instant I shut down the Power Down and I start to read about Witness to give my vote and support more the communities. I choose one to support and there I get into the Team Girl Powa completely.

I started the project Steemit Lessons and teach so many venezuelans to use in a good way the platform, this idea inspire others in Venezuela specifically in Barquisimeto where they take the initiative to do more new events. I have to be puclicly clear that I’m AGAINST the promotion of Steemit where people CHARGE for showing the platform. IF you found one of this "projects" DON'T PAY A PENNY and please help other people not to. Some people take advantage of the bad political and economical situation in my country and other people needs. Lets make a change with good actions and helping other venezuelans to know, and grow in steemit.

Now I look for hashtags and key people to vote for them, even if my vote don’t worth much is a support and a way of help them to continue in Steemit and to persevere. I created a discord channel for the people of the Project Steemit Lessons for Venezuelans in Barquisimeto (the one that I have to close) where everyone can share information about the lessons and promote their posts, and then I read each post that they share with calm and give them some advices in private to improve. I take my time to read, and I still do it not because my time is short I’m gonna stop.

After improving I enter in a contest by Hive account@karensuestudios for a delegation of SP and guess what? I WON !! So I take more time than ever to vote and comment. This happen after the Steemit Lessons so there was people starting and growing, people that live in my town a few blocks from me, imagine my excitement. This people have an amazing economical improvement

Hola a todos

Hace semanas Hive account@anomadsoul realizó un concurso en el cual él premiaba a las personas Modelo de Steemit y yo realmente quería participar pero luego me pregunté:

¿Que aporto yo para steemit?

¿Cómo ayudo a los que me rodean con esta plataforma?

¿Acaso me merezco ese premio?

Y las respuestas fueron tres no consecutivos y sinceros, no aportaba nada, no ayudaba y si lo hacía era sólo porque me lo pedían, no me merecía bajo ninguna condición una delegación de Steem Power. Y fué ahí cuando me di cuenta de que tenía que hacer algo al respecto.

Hive account@anomadsoul explícitamente requeria algunas cosas simples y sencillas que son:

• • No hacer power down muy seguido, explicaba que no esto significa que no confías en la plataforma y que no piensas quedarte en ella a largo plazo. CIERTO hace tres meses yo estaba en Venezuela, y como todos saben la inflación de más de 14000% se come todo, es como un ácido que destruye lo que toca. Sacaba constantemente SP de mi cuenta, mala idea ahora tengo un plan un poco más pensado y más a largo plazo.
• • Publicaciones originales y de buena calidad, a partir de aquí habian algunas que cumplía otras no tanto.
• • Citar las fuentes. Odio el plagio, citar las fuentes se aprende en primaria, hay que respetar esto.
• • Responder más seguido los comentarios ¡AMO hacer esto! No hay nada más satisfactorio para un escritor que ser leído y responder comentarios es como un pequeño agradecimiento para todos ustedes que se toman el tiempo de leer.

5- Comentar y dar una buena retroalimentación ¿sino para que lees?

• • No autovotarme más de una vez en un dia. Es mejor aprovechar ese poder de voto apoyando a otros!
• • No autopromocionarme en todas las publicaciones, esto se me hace un poco difícil pero no hablaré de esto en esta publicación.

• -Propaga su voto hasta donde su SP lo permita, antes votaba demasiado drenaba mi SP no sabía usarlo bien pero luego aprendí. Es un poco más que leer mucho.

• • Aparece en algunos chats regularmente, esto aún no lo hago porque realmente me tendría que clonar para algo así desearía poder chatear más y ser más social pero en los chats grandes me vuelvo un poco tímida. Ten en cuenta que si me escribes por privado te responderé apenas pueda y lo haré con cariño.
• • Vota por los witness al menos 10 pero 30 serían mejor, apenas y votaba por unos 7.

Tome cartas en el asunto

Luego de leer toda esa lista de cosas que debería tener una persona modelo en Steemit pensé con más razón aún que no me merecía nada de eso, empecé a trabajar en mi blog y en mi como persona. En ese mismo instante apague el Power Down, y me fuí a la página de witness de Steemit investigué sobre algunos y dí más votos apoyando más a las comunidades. Escogí una comunidad para apoyarla y ahí fué donde me uní por completo al Team Girl Powa.
