Imagine that you are on a beautiful exotic island. When you arrived here, you were so enchanted by it that you rented a modest but charming house surrounded by the homes of locals.
The problem
The neighborhood is beautiful and you enjoy the closeness of nature, you observe playing cats, grazing cows and.... a pack of ROOSTERS!
When I write a pack I mean about 20 roosters at a distance of 2 to 5 meters from your home.
This gang of crazy birds screams non-stop during the day and at night!
In the evening their squeaky noise starts about 6 PM, 2 AM and from 4AM with small breaks it lasts up to 6 AM. One "session" lasts about 20 minutes because when one rooster starts to SCREAM, the other one is replying him in a moment. Then the third, fourth and so on until the 20th...
The sound is very loud because the roosters are big here and EVERY one of them has to participate in these crazy show.
Your windows are made of glass slats, which are tilted so that the air can circulate freely, but they do not close tightly and do not isolate from the noise.
Unfortunately, when you sleep, you will hear everything that happens around your home.
For a month of your life in this beautiful exotic village you are on the edge of madness.
Your dream is interrupted every few hours and after some time you wake up with a desire to kill those birds.
In the morning you are still very sleepy and you have to get down to work. After a busy day you lie asleep and when you touch the pillow with your head you will hear the crazy noise of these stupid birds.
My question is:
What would you do with these crazy monsters to finally get a good night's sleep?
Difficulties
To make it more interesting, I'll add a few difficulties you have to face together with me.
- The owner of crazy roosters is deaf and.... mentally disabled.
- You cannot change your apartment because of financial reasons.
- The earplugs do not work because they eliminate this noise in a small degree.
- There is no gun shop in the area.
- The owner of the house you rent is your neighbour and she doesn't like roosters either, but she can't communicate with the crazy owner of these birds.
