Well. Sort of!
But anyway, hello everyone! ^^ It's been a while since I post anything for steemit. And since I have some spare time, I thought of uploading one post.
WHAT'S IT ABOUT?
Before I proceed, it is kind of a coincidence that the story I'm doing is a (sort of) love story and it's near valentine. It is purely coincidence people!
So I did mentioned I joined a comic group called Comination and joined a project called "Scroll" carried by . So here is a sneak peek of my comic called "Breathless" for the project.
It's about a guy, Iskandar, a management student, who is trying to pick-up his dream girl, Telana, a math student but all of his attempts always fails. Until one accident that opens Telana's heart to like him.
Here's one of the two pages of the comic.
And to be honest, this is basically the first male protagonist I ever did. I always draw a girl as the main character since it's easier for me to relate. But I have to imagine myself as a guy and it was challenging but oddly fun.
IT'S TRUE STORY?
Haha. This is where it get super cute. Initially I was head banging and basically breaking my own skull trying to find an idea to make a comic. I always do actions but it takes more than 10 pages. So the most simplest genre I could do is romance.
And I suck at it.
My love life sucks, as well as my siblings. Same goes with my friends. So guess what? I took it from my parents love story. Yes people. It's about how my dad who had to try his hardest to woo my mom. It's hilarious. Some of them are true, others were embellished to make it comedic. So here's a small photo I took of my parents.
And I plan to fully release the comic online either during their anniversary or once "Scroll" project is proceed to the next stage. So stay tuned! ^^
ANY OTHER UPDATES?
Ah. Nothing much. Because of assignments, sadly. But I would like to shout out to , an associate of mine who does fanfiction of Persona 5, for joining in Steemit! I hope you enjoy yourself, sensei ^^
Speaking of Persona 5, I've finally able to finish the banner of the webcomic. Again, Persona 5 is a JRPG game created by Atlus.
Other than that, I mostly revisit some of the old scripts of my on-going comic and review it with a friend. And you always have that feeling where "What the heck? I can't believe I wrote this!" Yeah... gets me every time.
So that's all for today. I hope you guys have a great Chinese New Year and a Happy Holiday!
