Hi, Wonderful Steemians!
Life has been insanely busy lately. Too many things to be done so little time. Along the way, we tend to forget many little things that matter to others but we are taking it lightly.
Sometimes we forgot to appreciate all the assist and support that has been given and taking it for granted.
I remember the saying,
"No matter how busy life get's you, save a little moment for a sweet thought."
In this post, I would like to thanks to all those who made #steem-cartoon a success. Especially to my best buddy and co-founder , #teammalaysia main man
,
, my 1st steem-cartoon member
, my fellow best friend who supported me from the start
,
,
,
, all my students in steemit (couldn't put all the names, too many of you guys... hahaha) and of course, all the steemians who following my blog... Thank you very much!
Now we are grown bigger, with many new members are joining the boat, the path to our destiny is beautiful and exciting. Let's do it together and support each other. The success is merrier if celebrated by many.
I'm sharing with you guys my latest creation, after few months of experimenting and testing my arts in digital form, I'm starting to enjoy myself. Thanks to Steemit. I had a wonderful time practicing my craft and get rewarded at the same time... (wink). Art is my therapy.
Here are the processes:
Sketching process:
I draw the mermaid as my main subject and a whale at the back as a supporting character. I chose the image under the sea that I found on the internet as a visual guide for my composition.
Basic Coloring process:
1st layer of colour, basic layering, just to get the feel of it.
Colour Adjustment:
I'm adjusting the colour scheme, contrast and adding some detail.
Finishing Touch:
This was the part where I added the tiniest detail in my drawing, focus on the darkest and the highlight of my subject.
Finally, its done! Horrayy!
Hoping you all like it. I am having fun doing it. The whole process took me about 3 hours. Using 100% Photoshop and UGEE drawing tablet.
Thank you very much for viewing my blog and here I present you the whole Gif process.
Enjoy!
