With SBD looking a bit healthier, proposals above the return proposal are doing OK at present + I might be able to afford a beer at the weekend after a dry January.
Flatter belly, soon........
Healthy January
The month of January has gone quicker than I expected. Just prior to the new year I received a text from a friend who was thinking of coming down at the end of this month. As hometown friends, one likely source of entertainment would be to watch the football over a few drinks and I suspect he had a heavy Christmas because he told me that January would be a month without alcohol. I thought that was a good idea and have done the same, and it actually wasn't that difficult.
As well as cutting the beer and it's millions of calories out for almost a month now, I've made a concerted effort to move my arse most days and have been following a couple of workout routines I found on YouTube and the like. I've also visited my local gym and, wearing a fleece to start with because it's chuffing freezing, have been doing some jogging and a few weights and all in all, I'm feeling pretty chuffed with myself for the effort made in what isn't the ideal month of the year for motivation.
I've also steered clear of the rubbish that was creeping into my diet such as pizza, cheese, and curry sauce jars. Don't get me wrong, I love all that stuff but when you are eating them more days than not, it doesn't take long to notice the waistline growing. I'm a 3 belt buckles in kinda guy, and having to drop to two was the final kick I needed to start making an effort to eat better. In just four weeks, I'm back up to buckle 3 again - broccoli, couscous, and eggs aren't so bad you know.
It's been about 4 months since the hard fork and the introduction of the proposals system, where those sitting above the Return Proposal are paid for whatever their proposal details. I was looking at the tables that are present in SteemSQL and can see that the proposals ahead of the Return Proposal are collecting an hourly sum - their daily payout divided by 24.
Summing up every account in that table since the start of the system gives these numbers:
| Account | SBD |
|---|---|
| 160393.8370 | |
| howo | 14736.8900 |
| inertia | 12897.0830 |
| steem-keychain | 6913.9800 |
| steemchiller | 3635.4120 |
| 3130.4250 | |
| netuoso | 1765.9350 |
| steemonboarding | 544.9600 |
| anyx | 258.3370 |
| peak.proposals | 201.9200 |
| emrebeyler | 43.4130 |
I'm pretty sure what's paid to is returned to the fund, and
and burning what they are given and so thus far, the DAO has given out just under 41000 SBD to a total of 9 accounts. With SBD having recovered a little of late, and sitting at just over 94 cents on Bittrex, the proposals now taking a salary are doing pretty well I think.
The top earner has been testing and reviewing the SMT fork, and has recently had this proposal renewed. A daily rate of 180 SBD at current prices is about $170 - a pretty good daily wage imo.
After , the next highest day pay (150 SBD) is going to
who is working on new features and fixes for Vessel. I have to be honest and say that I've not used this tool (originally written by
) in easily over a year, and I'm wondering just how popular it is at present. Perhaps when it's given a new lease of life it will become popular again.
You must have been under a rock not to have heard of the Steem Keychain, and and team are taking 100 SBD for the development of this tool - which is totally awesome, and I suspect stats show that it is used heavily.
The only other proposal earning 100 SBD + a day is the one from steemonboarding who put out an update yesterday. This is a recent 'approval' and hopefully with some funds coming in, the team can ramp up work and come up with some plans to get more people here - and hopefully the right kind of people :)
Thanks to all the people issuing ENGAGE via , and special thanks to
for trailing the vote,
for delegating to the account,
/
for reviving the idea and buying up free-float, and to
for the bot action.
Have a nice evening all,
Ash
