I have started blogging with blogger because it was free then move to WordPress realizing that I should own my internet data. I have been seen that Google deleted many blogs on blogger without any notice to content creator. when bitcoin price reached all time high grab my attention towards blockchain and cryptocurrency and I was regretting why I not came to know about such awesome technology at early stage that can revolutionized our future.
I was not happy on WordPress blogging because it was costing me money like Hosting charges, SSL certificate, premium theme and plugin. I was not earning enough with Google AdSense advertising. Steem is designed in such a way that everyone one this platform will grow either content creator or content curator. Steem has huge potential to revolutionize the social media and break the monopoly of Google, Facebook and Twitter .who are making billion of dollar with user data. Facebook connection with Cambridge Analytica is well known example.
Steem provide power of social media in people hand and reward them on the basis of quality their content.as we knows that in countries like India where government process to regulate cryptocurrency is very slow, we are only getting dates from Apex court of India. Irresponsible reporting from media houses given unclear message to the public therefore many blogger in India are hesitating to use Steem is as their permanent blogging platform. I hope when people will gain enough knowledge about blockchain and cryptocurrency that will increase Steem userbase and which ultimately increase the price of Steem.
I am not disappointed with current price of Steem because Steem has already revolutionized the blogging platform still in this bear market we have strong user base who believe in Steem and its bright future. it does not matter that we have less userbase as compare to WordPress and blogger or any other social media platform .I am also happy to see Dapp around Steem blockchain alternative of Fiverr, Alternative of Quora, alternative of Instagram etc . Community driven project are more successful as compare to project owned by organization best example is WordPress which empower 30% of internet websites. No platform or technology is perfect so as community driven project we are eliminating loophole in each hardfork. If community is there Steem will be alive.
Currently Steem price is around $0.2 at the time of writing this post. if we want to grow the price of Steem then we must invest as much as we can in Steem because price is low. you may not know when this opportunity will come or not in future. As a Steem user we should also take responsibility of advertising and marketing of Steem. We should try to bring more and more people on the is awesome platform by explaining its advantage to our friend’s family and relative over other social media platform. If a single Steem user brings 3 users on Steem platform then after one year our platform will be very big. Those who come on this platform will also hold certain amount of Steem, which will ultimately increase the price of Steem.
I also request Steem Inc to do the advertising and marketing of Steem using Google Adword. If any company product is good and not investing money on advertising, then How people will come to know about it ? Steemit Inc also selling Steem in huge quantity to recover their operating cost. I can understand that in such bear market it's very difficult to manage operating cost. I would suggest Steemit Inc to verify their website on Brave platform so that those Steemit user who does not want to see Ads of Google AdSense will donate certain BAT token. To recover operating cost Steemit Inc should sell BAT token each month to recover their operating cost this will stabilize the current price of steem.
