I'm sure by now we've all seen the posts of people saying to go vote for STEEM in the contest at this website. I've been resteeming posts and spamming reminders in several Discord servers as well for the last few days, but today I thought I'd make my own post to explain exactly why this is so important. If you are not familiar with the company, they have set up crypto ATMs all across Canada and they just announced plans to expand to 42 U.S. states.
If that doesn't stress the importance of why we need everyone going to vote, especially now on the last day, I'll break it down for you. We need fiat gateways for crypto and making fiat gateways for STEEM is going to allow more people to easily buy and sell STEEM without using the banking system and going through other cryptos like Bitcoin or ETH. Essentially, people will be able to go to a store and withdraw cash for their STEEM directly or buy in just as easily. This is critical for mass adoption.
If you haven't voted yet or thought that we were all crazy and just spamming you, hopefully this clears up why we're all pushing everyone to go vote so heavily. It will only take about thirty seconds of your time and it has the potential to help out a large amount of our user base immediately and potentially everyone as it becomes easier to buy into STEEM.
