Move over fiat! You can now safely buy and sell products with other users in Steem!
Introducing Coinsen
Coinsen is an eBay like marketplace where you can buy and sell items with Steem. You can list items for sale whether they are books, movies, steam games, jewelry, collectibles, and more!
In fact right now there are 1,500+ items up for sale from dozens of individual sellers. We've been privately testing the site over the past couple of months so our buyers and sellers have gone through various verification processes which have resulted in just a handful of disputes after 2,450+ successfully completed transactions.
How does it work
Selling
- List an item (digital, physical)
- Buyer purchases the item through Coinsen
- Coinsen holds onto the Steem until buyer confirms receipt then the Steem is released to the seller
- Instantly transfer your Steem to your Steemit.com balance
Buying
- Find an item you would like (steam game, book, clothing, jewelry, gift card)
- Click to purchase or bid with Steem
- Seller is notified of the sale and asked to send/ship item and provide shipping information
- Coinsen holds your Steem for the buyer until you receive the item and confirm receipt.
- Coinsen guarantees you will receive the item or receive your Steem back
At least half of all of our completed transactions have been digital items, codes, and game keys. Right now there are 100s of digital items available instantly such as in the Steam Game category. You can purchase a game and instantly receive a steam key from various sellers, some having 100s of positive feedback.
Still in Beta
I view the site as still in beta as I'm working on it daily. Between when I started and today the project got increasingly ambitious so there is a high chance you may run into some misspellings or very minor bugs. Feel free to let me know on here or via email on the contact page and I'll get back to you right away.
Future Outlook
I have a lot of features planned but I am currently focusing on making the buying/selling/user experience smoother and more intuitive. I'd like it to be very easy to be be able to shop with Steem, see prices in Steem, and sell items receiving payment in Steem.
