I was reading 's post this afternoon and it is worth reading if you haven't. I don't think we can say if he is right or wrong in thinking of those numbers. Anything is possible in the future and we need to have an open mind.
What needs to happen if we are going to get anywhere close to what he says is we need huge development and need new things rolling out all the time. In the last year this has happened, but we need more and we need better things.
I think it will take one new app that will light the fuse and we don't have it yet. What is needed is an app that catches everyone's imagination and they all want to be part of it. Not a Facebook but something similar in popularity and Steem needs the next big thing to move to the next level. Who knows it could be a game that becomes a household name or something along the social media lines.
This is going to take funding and that is why the funding proposals are important. We all want Steem to sky rocket in value and have to understand a small sacrifice now is nothing, when we look at the bigger picture.Maybe the proposal everyone was talking about regarding a percentage of the reward pool going for development is a good idea.
I just see it as something that needs to happen and is a no brainer. The more we invest the sooner it will happen. I understand where is going and understand the thought processes behind this project.
Just some thoughts from a Sunday afternoon with not much happening and the weekend has flown by yet again.
