Cryptocurrency bloodbath continues - Steem at a steal price of 1.54...

Hello fellow Steemians,

It has been a while since I wrote anything crypto related but the sharp correction of the past few weeks might be just the perfect time to give out some thoughts on the topic and to hear out your opinion as well. The whole cryptomarket has lost hundreds of billions of dollars since its January highs. Such a correction was expected but in all honesty, I was not expecting it to go this low. What I was not foreseeing at all was to see the price of Steem under 2 bucks ever again. And here we are, Steem is trading at 1.54 USD at the time of writing. Anything is possible in this space.

Even though we can still go a bit lower from here, I personally think that Steem at this price is a real steal and gives a great buying opportunity for those that have not had a chance to get in. I have said it on numerous occasions in the past that it is a shame seeing many of you spending a lot of time and effort on this platform and not investing a single dollar to buy your stake in this wonderful project that has the potential to make the Steem holders very wealthy in the years to come. It is the times when the value of our crypto portfolios are shrinking when I appreciate my Steem investment the most. No other crypto in my portfolio is giving me regular payouts besides the Steem. So even though the price is plunging I am still making money on my investment for being active here. So why not you? It would be shame to see big institutions or wealthy individuals snapping all the available Steem at those levels. Please, do not take this as a financial advice, use your own diligence, I am just saying my thoughts out loud. This market conditions might last a while but there will be a time when we hit the bottom and we will start reversing. I still don´t see a reason why the price of Steem shouldn´t be worth hundreds of dollars in the years to come. In the meantime let´s blog, have some fun and support each other while we go through those unfavourable market contiditions. In all honestey, I do not really care for this price drop since I am in this for a long haul. How about you guys, what are your thoughts?
