I have to say, it's been a touch couple of months hasn't it?
I'm not quite sure there are any more full-time steemians left of the platform but just incase there is, how are you holding on? How are you managing?
This morning I read a very interesting piece by on Fulltime Steeming. It made a lot of sense and it's something I have been thinking about for sometime and working towards myself.
Being a full-time Steemian is no longer viable and it takes a lot of time and effort to make content that can amount to anything. Especially give the changes in the rewards system. With that in mind, I'd say the dream to be a full-time Steemian for many has come to an end, well, at least for me.
If you Haven't read the piece by Eric, I highly encourage you to...
The Fairy tale of Full time Steemians | Why we don't need more of those...
Time to work towards something else and use Steem for other purposes other than making a living off. He Said. And I completely agree with this sentiment. Unfortunately working towards something else will cost me nearly every Steem I've earned on this platform, but hopefully I will be able to buy back much more than I have spent so far.
Such a gamble!
But I am hopeful I will be able to do that in time. thinks we might see $0.03 STEEM. Oh my lord, I am somewhat wishing for that so I can accumulate as much as I have dreamt of and hoping that I will be strategically placed for when that happens :)
All in all, Full-time Steeming is a thing of the past and it's time we stopped Advertising Steem as an income generating Social Media Platform. We need to sell the fun side of Steem, money makes everything so dull with all the tag of wars, unnecessary flagging/downvotes etc and it's taking the life out of STEEM by the day.
So I ask, If money was not a potent part of the STEEM Ecosystem, how would you sell the platform? Or rather, would you even be here TODAY?
