While looking for information on good reasons to invest in Steem (want to do some infographics) I ran across some old news that 
Is this accurate? Has this been talked about? Did the devs ever mention their reasons to do this? I am aware the posts are recorded on the blockchain and can be seen from other frontends, but the fact remains that the user was banned which is pretty contrary to what one would expect from a platform that allegedly defends freedom of speech.

Grateful for any information on the matter. Don’t want to start a war here, I just want to know if there is censorship on Steemit so I can avoid saying it’s censorship-resistant in the infographics. Don’t want to promote things that are not true.
