Many of us from 2016 have seen the lows of 2017 where many of stayed active and kept accumulating STEEM when many others gave up and left. It allowed those of us who stayed put to accumulate more STEEM. Either via posting regularly as well as buying in.
STEEM is currently trading below $1 and if the markets continue to fall then we're likely to remain there for sometime to come. However, this presents a rare opportunity for everyone to buy STEEM while it's available at discounted prices.
Considering we were at $4 about 3 months ago $0.95-$0.98 is a good range. However since the price is below $1 we'll get more STEEM on our posts. I still remember the day when the feed price was around $0.07-$0.08 and earning a ton of STEEM on my post last year. It allowed many of us early adopters to increase our stake on the blockchain.
When the prices go up we all benefitted. Ofcourse many of us are still around and hodling STEEM which is good.
If you are investing in new technology that is seeing active development then it's worth holding your stake in it for the long haul and play a long game. In the past two years we've witnessed many ups and downs. I'm sure we will see the market make many such moves in the future as well.
STEEM is one of the best blockchain technologies out there and also one of the most used in the world. In the meantime it doesn't harm anyone from buying into STEEM and powering up and the prices are quite low now.
As much as we want it to go high, the market moves at its own pace. So sit back, relax, create content, curate content and promote Steem blockchain to your friends and family. Educate them on why it's worth signing up for an account here and using it.
Good luck to you!
