during my Registration
On December 2017 was the year I joined steemit, prior to that time, I had vowed never to engage in any online platform investment on the internet, simply because I was grieved over the experienced I had with a ponzy scheme called MMM (Mavrondi Mondial Movement) on the internet which made away with my whole life savings. Not too long, I came in contact with a friend @Casweeney by name who introduced and tried convincing me to joined steemit.
At first it was not what I wanted listening to but his persistence left me with no choice but to listen even thought I was bearing in mind it’s another ponzy scheme he wanted sharing with me.
He added by saying steemit platform has done it to most already. He explain the reward of users with decent and satisfactory content. At that point, I was moved to pay more attention and my question then was what do you mean by good content?
He added by saying whenever someone creates a good post (post worth upvoting) he get reward on that whenever someone viewed other peoples post that attracts upvote he gets the reward in return.
He said whenever someone post copy-paste (that which is contained) that individual will be punish by flagging.
He further explained the two ways of earning on steemit namely: authors reward and curation reward
He explained steem and steemit as;
STEEM: is a blogging platform base on blockchain while
STEEMIT: is a crptocurrency of steemit platform
He left me by saying, steem are value given in return for proof of creativity.
Today am happy sharing the experienced and the right decision I took and join this great community which gives me ideas, and meeting new friends outside Africa.
