In less than an hour, the monthly Adelaide Steem Meet occurs. You'll see a huge contingent of Steemians descend upon The Jade, located in Flinders St, Adelaide.
There, they'll reflect on the year that has been, and discuss all things STEEM in a sunny, outdoorsy type environment, for the first time in a month.
Over the year that we've been hosting this event - we've seen the price of STEEM see-saw, go up, and go down - yet the enthusiasm, the sense of community, and the sense of bullishness about everything that STEEM enables our little city gathering to do has grown stronger and stronger.
I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone very, very soon, and celebrating the year that was (we won't have a meet in December) - and making plans for the year that will be.
If you're sitting on the fence about ever attending a STEEM meet up in your local city, I suggest - just go to one.
If your city doesn't have a regular STEEM meet up, start one.
All it takes is the name of a place, the time, and a blog post.
Be your own Steemfest, whenever you want to. Trust me, it's a magical feeling.
