Just taking a quick look at STEEM's chart today (April 26, 2018) on Coinmarketcap,
I noticed that STEEM's total value early today was $992,319,446. That's pretty great!
STEEM has a healthy 24 hour trading volume of $154,146,000 and
a circulating supply of 254,247,921 out of a total supply of 271,222,015. Also pretty great!
I'd never done any real chart analysis of STEEM so didn't have a clear sense of what the market cap value looked like. Obviously it's something to be happy about. One billion USD marketcap value is a big milestone for any business, product or technology category, and of course also for any individual cryptocurrnecy.
And the 1 week chart shows an almost 30% price increase for the week. Again, pretty amazing. :))
On Steemit, I think we're all naturally excited for STEEM in general. But after learning so much more about its future at the recent Steem Creators conference, I'm extremely excited for the future of this wonderful cryptocurrency and ecosystem. It has enormous potential to be one of the major break out d/apps that usher in another huge adoption wave; bringing us ever-close to that oh so critical sweet spot of mainstream acceptance and integration.
I'm curious how much new STEEM are created every day and what the percentages are created from which sites. There's probably some one on here that tracks and reports that kind of data, but I'm not sure who that might be
or where to find it. If you know of something like that please feel free to share it. :)
The entire crypto-space looks like we're heading back into major bull market territory soon, so STEEM will likley break the$1B mark within a few weeks, if not a few days...maybe even hours. So let's keep our eyes peeled and get ready to celebrate! :)
