The 7-day timeframe for collecting upvotes and potential rewards.
For a platform often marketed as a "blogging" one it honestly doesn't make any sense that after 7 days you will no longer be able to earn rewards for an article or content you published to the Steem Blockchain. Much more disappointing is how most people in here are so hell bent in pushing others into publishing only "quality" content. It's hard guysss!!! :)
The whole point of blogging is to share your passion, personal experiences and opinions to other people who can relate to your interests. Blogging also allows one to create informative and helpful articles that might help others in the next weeks, months or years from now. As a matter of fact, one reason why I stumbled upon this platform was because of one article I found on my Google Search results, it was a post from a year ago but if I could only upvote that post 100 times. XD
So yeah if I could change one thing here on Steem/Steemit, it would be this one. While I am fully aware as to the reason why this might not be feasible in the long run and I'm also aware that Steem tried this approach a year ago by extending the reward timeframe to 30 days, I just wish that they reconsider or try to find an alternative to reward posts past 7 days as it is really unfair to people who are quite new in here and have not established that much visibility on this platform yet.
