I realized how outdated Cash is...
Blockchain means open book. I am an openbooks guy. I pay everything with creditcards or crypto and barely use cash. When I arrived in Berlin I knew that I had to get cash at the ATM because the Restaurant I was going to was not accepting Cards. So I tried to get some cash but the only ATM around was out of order.
I had the chance to get cash before my flight but I was too lazy, after that I had to use another ATM and walk 1 mile to find that ATM...Lesson learnt always have enough cash with me in Berlin...
Out of order ATM
Windows XP ATM, didn't catch the Startscreen...
I hope that in the near future we can all pay with Steem
As I had reported HERE it is so easy to pay with Steem or SBD. Just enter the name of the recepient and a memo if you like and it will be there instantly. Bitcoin is great but STEEM for money transfer and micropayments is much better. And of course SBD is great of merchants and consumers as long the system works and the Debt is not killing the system.
Have you paid locally with Steem before ???
