You can transfer STEEM or SBD to someone else (with a memo) the smallest transaction is 0.001.
You can trade STEEM for SBD or SBD for STEEM on the market.
Savings: you can save it into a 3-day savings account so in case your password gets exposed, you have 3 days to cancel any transactions.
Powering up:
To turn steem into steem power takes 3 days and is called powering up.
Power down:
To turn steem power into steem takes 13 weekly payments and is called powering down.
