Hello steemians, my name is Magdnrobinson, but just call Robinson for short.
I joined steemit late December. How?
I was out with a friend who was about to travel the next day (boys hang out) when I saw my friend , who had not been online for sometime, suddenly is chatting, am like bro, show me the way.
He introduced me to this platform and in a rush gave me all the info he could.
I was interested, and wanted to know more for myself, but the knowledge I could gather online was not convincing for me.
He told me the benefits as well, though I was reluctant at first, I told me to register me after 5days.
Challenges faced
#1: the terms were new to me, yes of cos, it won't be what am used to, but still I don't even understand them.

Seriously, what's even the meaning of sbd, steem power and rest., though with time I began to adjust to the terms, but hey! I still don't know what sbd is. ๐๐๐๐
#2---> upvotes.
Ok, now I was told the more upvotes you get the more your power and familiarity,
So I was added to a whatsapp group, now that one was a challenge of difference on its own so many people talking all at once. I felt Iike I was begging people to upvote my post, and am like this was not what I was told.
#3----> plagiarism : ok, I never for once upvote that which was not mine and if I use someone's material, referencing is done. Something happened some days back, I saw my friend Post her link, only for another steemian to respond that What she posted is the exact of what he did 2wks ago. I really couldn't help but laugh ๐ ๐.
#4----> default 50/50.
You see that button at the end ๐ ๐ ๐, now my friend did his intro post and placed it on 100%, after 1 wk he was expecting his SBD, only to be surprised, it was then someone told him what he did wrong.
#5----> Secrets.
I love musics ๐ถ and instruments, the keyboard ๐น players would always teach you half Of what they know, and keep encouraging you, even when you are making mistakes, this was my situation, I was asking people who have been on this platform for long, how they do it with good upvotes, and how do I go about with tags, he just laugh and ignore the message or change the topic.
Yikes!!!!!
#5 gender biased.
Ok, this one I am suspecting, but lemme just say it, it's like steemit is gender biased, lol ๐, girls have more upvotes than the guys.
Even my convert gets plenty confused, I just told her to relax and enjoy it step by step no rush.

Mitup5 is a new orientation program organized by fellow steemian .
And I hope to learn so much from this, be a better steemian and also help others who are so much hungry about how this steemit works.
I will pay 100% attention.
This is indeed gonna be a wonderful experience.
