Recently, I’ve been chatting up my friends about the Steem Blockchain. And the responses have been.... very.... underwhelming. These are non-crypto people and do not understand what a blockchain is. They are skeptical and intimidated. The concept of a private key blow their minds 🤯 They don’t understand why there is no account recovery- and that scares them! Most of my friends are very active on social media but Steem seems very daunting to them. The financial part intrigues them- but the complexity of exchange process looses them again (fiat to BTC to Steem... and reverse that to sell.) They see it as a hassle!
