Hello all. So over the last couple of days I've been breaking into the nitty gritty of how 
Hive account@theusersparty will be set up. At the end of the day there's a lot to think about. In case you're wondering what I'm talking about Hive account@theusersparty is a witness voting block initiative that I've created to incentivise and reward witnesses that are adding value to the user experience of Steem. You can find out more in my announcement post here.
So where are things at?
I've gone ahead and added my accounts to the proxy. I noticed that 
Hive account@bryan-imhoff had already signed up(thanks for the support!) and I hadn't even yet. Also as a side note, if you're wondering why I have so many accounts, it's because I have one for several family members that aren't active. If I've ever upvoted you, you probably recognize the names because they're set up to follow my votes :)
Anyway, that brings the total SP using Hive account@theusersparty to 23,576 SP and we haven't even gotten started yet. So right now I'm figuring out how exactly I'm going to word what Hive account@theusersparty is about, what it supports, etc. I'm just editing to make it as informative, but concise as possible.
I'm also working on media for marketing and promotion, so a logo, a banner image, and a footer for people who want to support Hive account@theusersparty to put at the bottom of their blog.
The other thing I'm still working out is promotion and money. Since I'll be doing posts from Hive account@theusersparty account I've decided that all money made on that account will be powered up and used for promotion by upvoting people that promote Hive account@theusersparty.
I don't want anyone delegating to this account because I think eventually there may be long periods of time where the account isn't voting, and I don't want to lock up peoples SP if I'm not actively using it all the time. What I think would be a better option is a curation trail, so if people want to support what we're doing they can follow the trail so that people promoting Hive account@theusersparty can get a little show of appreciation.
Also I've added 
Hive account@crowdwitness to the list of witnesses that Hive account@theusersparty is voting for by request of...you guessed it, users, and that's how I want this to work.
So I've also decided that instead of just trying to fill all 30 slots, I'm just going to vote for those that the community and/or the witness themselves make a case for. So we currently are voting for 16 witnesses, you can see the other 15 in my original post.
So the voting is currently active. If this is something that you want to support please allow Hive account@theusersparty to vote on your behalf. If there's a witness you want us to vote for, make a case for them. Roughly half of the slots are still open. This is beneficial because I(as well as anyone else) can track who is using us as proxy and this can be a powerful tool to boost witnesses that we as users want to support, and to incentivise witnesses to be proactive in putting the community and users first.
