Hello people!
In approximately 14 hours NETCOINs contest, for a chance of a free listing crypto currency comes to an end. As I am writing this post, our beloved STEEM is in second place, roughly 300 votes behind VERGE.
The "funny" thing is that I checked the rankings just a few hours back and STEEM was leading by a thousand votes or so. And all of a sudden VERGE is on top spot. Seems like almost 2K votes in favor of VERGE took place just within the last 2 - 3 hours, which nonetheless seems suspicious. Could it be vote farming?
Now, even if everything is ok and VERGE is in the lead with the right way, I think we should be ashamed of the fact that we claim to have 50K daily active users and we managed to have ONLY 11K votes in six days. Whether something is wrong with the calculations, or thousands of people have set some accounts on auto voters and appear to be active while they are not around at all. I can't really think of another reasonable explanation.
This is how it looks like at the moment
I know that activity on weekends is lower than usual, but we must all cast our last vote in the next 14 hours.
So spread the word, talk to your friends, remind everyone that HE HAS TO VOTE TODAY. Maybe this is STEEM'S best chance to scale or maybe not, but in any case we have to take the lead in the following hours and stay there till the end.
I wouldn't be surprised if hundreds of votes were removed from VERGE as duplicated or as farming votes
