Today’s article isn’t a ’step-by-step guide’ or a ‘how to get a makeup look’ article, and I’m not sure if this will be of interest to you.
Let me know in the comment below if you’d like to see more “coins-inspired” makeup looks, and the one I should do next.
A while ago, I thought of doing some face-painting or inspired makeup looks of different coins – logos – but I didn’t do it for some reasons.
Finally, the day is here, and I will be showing you my first inspired makeup look. It’s from the Logo of the Steem Coin.
At first, I wasn’t sure about how to start, but then I had the idea of using the three “Steem” lines as an eyeliner makeup style.
I tried to get the same shape of wings that are at the ends of the Steem Logo, but I also wanted to match it to my eye shape, so that’s a mix of beauty makeup and creative makeup.
I used face-paint and a small/thin brush with long bristles to achieve this look. There is dark blue face-paint in my crease and lower lash line and the light blue where I would normally do my winged-eyeliner (upper lash line).
To activate the face paint, you only need a cup of water and brushes. Swipe it through the color and apply it to your face. Face-paint dries down, but be you should be careful as is water-soluble.
Then I remembered that I had some lip topers in dark blue and light blue. These are perfect to give this a pop look! The topers are like liquid lipsticks with glitter in it, and they dry down. Sadly, I only found the dark blue and I have no idea where the light blue is.
So, I applied the dark blue lip toper onto the dark blue face paint to give this pop look!
Next, I I did mascara and highlighted underneath my brow bone and the rest of the highest points of my face.
After, I’m done with the eye makeup, but I thought about whether I should leave it as it is or if I should do something else.
So, I moved on to the lips and canceled out my natural lips color with a lot of concealers till they disappeared! And I set it with translucent powder.
Grabbed the dark blue face paint and started drawing a very narrowed but big lip. It’s more like doll’s lip.
Let the face paint dry and pop on the lip toper, matching it with the eye makeup.
That’s it for today! This is the finished look, and I hope you’ll let me know what you think about the idea of transforming coin logos into makeup looks!
Thank you so much for your support! I really appreciate everyone’s support and love!
